We’re going to talk a little bit today about a specific detectors going to be the Technics Delta 4000. We are into a little bit as to why i pick this detector and why I think it might work for you or might not work for you.
I gotta tell you I’m very pleased with this detector. It’s got all the features on it that I needed.
So for now, I will talk about the basic ideas of how the Teknetics Delta 4000 detector works and if it works out for you, maybe you will wanna run out there and grab yourself one of these machine.
So what we have right here is the actual screen display you’re gonna get. The layout of control box of the Delta 4,000 is pretty simple.
As for sure you will have your power button, your mode, menu, pinpoint and then your up and down settings to make adjustments within your menu.
On the right side of the screen you’ve got your depth, battery level indicator, your target identification number and then you’re gonna have the icons down below to give you an idea as to what it is that you’re actually finding in the ground.
The pinpoint is deadly accurate; when you find that pinpointer, you hover over your target, that target will be right there. Smack in the center of the coil, and the depth indicators will gonna tell you exactly how deep it is for the most part.
You should be able to get down there and get whatever is in there, be the coin, ring or what have you.
When you’re out in the field and detecting, if you turn it on and it start to go badly on you, its mean that you got some type of interference around you. So you gonna have to cut your sensitivity down toward your detectors stable.
Just don’t go all out with the sensitivity, because it will giving you misleading or false signals.
Next thing we’re going to discuss here is the discrimination level. When you hit menu and select the discrimination, the Delta 4000 had pre-programmed the discrimination level at 40.
